Bear Tracks Ski Program (6 & Under)

Bear Tracks Ski Program is an excellent program for younger children who want to learn and progress in skiing. Over 4 consecutive weeks, your child will ski alongside peers of similar age, guided by a consistent, fun-loving instructor focused on skill development and safety.

The instructor will help your child build on basic turn shapes and control, progressing towards steeper terrain while emphasizing safe skiing practices.

Schedule

Lesson Days & Times: Saturdays or Sundays at 1:15 PM

Lesson Length: 2 hour per week for 4 weeks (pre-determined dates)

Session Options

• January 2026
  • Session 1 Saturdays: Jan 10, 17, 24, 31
  • Session 1 Sundays: Jan 11, 18, 25, Feb 1
• February 2026
  • Session 2 Saturdays: Feb 7, 21, 28, Mar 7
  • Session 2 Sundays: Feb 8, 22, Mar 1, 8

Note: This program skips Family Day Weekend (Feb 14–16).

Skill Requirements & Levels

Minimum required skill: Must be able to snowplow unassisted.

• Never Ever: Have never skied before
• Beginner: Can snowplow, working towards turning
• Novice: Can link turns on green runs
• Intermediate: Can link turns on blue runs
• Advanced: Can link turns confidently on blue runs

Additional Information

• Groups consist of up to 3 children to ensure focused instruction.
• A discounted 4-week ski rental is available for the lesson dates. Rental details such as height, weight, shoe size, and skier type must be provided by editing your profile or during registration.
• A parent or guardian may be required to be present during lessons.
• You may request a preferred instructor in the comment section; assignments are based on availability and are not guaranteed.

📝 Waiver & Liability

After purchase, both a Rental Equipment Release of Liability and a Snow School Program Release of Liability must be signed by the participant. If under 18, these must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
